Leveling Up the Sushi Scene the Uramakeria Way

Mr. Manuel Manolo Plata, a Sushi Chef by profession with an earned experience of working overseas for 13 years, has long dreamt and conceptualized this dream of starting his own restaurant. While working abroad, Mr. Plata met his now partner Ms. Jonnalaine Javier who is based in the Philippines. With her strong background in business and sales, she saw an opportunity to collaborate with her partner and make his dream restaurant business turn into reality.

And so, with nothing but courage and their intention to bring to PH one of the best tasting sushi rolls, on 2021, they launched their first online selling of sushi rolls, covering its step-by-step preparation which garnered a lot of views and shares in social media and made it a hit. And that was when ‘URAMAKERIA’ was born. A place now known nationwide to serve quality but affordable fusion sushi rolls and sushi burrito with unique taste and presentation.

Now, Mr. Plata and Ms. Javier, with their innate business expertise have begun to explore more business opportunities as they open their doors to franchising. And after successful exploratory talks with like-minded business people, today, they have so far four franchisees and counting!
